How to Install ArtistSea as a Mobile App

Installing ArtistSea as a Progressive Web App (PWA) allows you to access it just like a regular app—complete with its own icon and a full-screen experience without the browser address bar.

Here is how to add it to your mobile home screen depending on your device:

📱 For iPhone & iPad (iOS)

iOS requires you to use the Safari browser to install PWAs.

1. Open Safari and go to the ArtistSea website.
2. Tap the three dots icon at the bottom ( … ).
3. Tap the Share icon at the top of the list of options (the square with an arrow pointing up).
4. Tap the View More button.
5. Scroll down the list of options and tap Add to Home Screen.
6. (Optional) Rename the shortcut to "ArtistSea."
7. Tap Add in the top-right corner.

🤖 For Android (Chrome & Others)

Android offers a more "native" installation feel. While these steps are for Chrome, they are very similar for Edge, Brave, and Samsung Internet.

1. Open Chrome and navigate to the ArtistSea website.
2. Tap the three vertical dots ( ⋮ ) in the top-right corner.
3. Look for and tap Install app (or Add to Home screen if it's the first time).
4. Follow the on-screen prompt by tapping Install.
5. Chrome will now add ArtistSea to your app drawer and home screen.

Why use the PWA version?

• Fast Access: No need to type the URL every time.
• Full Screen: It removes the browser "clutter" (tabs and search bar) to give you more room for art.
• Offline Support: Some features may remain accessible even without a steady internet connection.
