1. Click the Sign up button in the top navigation
2. Enter your desired username, email address, and password
3. Check your email for a verification link
4. Click the link to verify your account
5. Start exploring and sharing your art!

• Check your inbox (and spam/junk folder) for an email from ArtistSea
• Click the verification link in the email
• You'll be automatically logged in once verified

Didn't receive the email? You can request a new verification email from the login page.

If you absolutely need to change your username, you would need to create a new account. Please contact us through the Feedback form if you have special circumstances.

ArtistSea works as a web app that you can add to your home screen for quick access, just like a native app.

iPhone / iPad (Safari):

1. Open ArtistSea in Safari
2. Tap the Share button (square with arrow pointing up)
3. Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen"
4. Tap "Add" in the top right corner

Android (Chrome):

1. Open ArtistSea in Chrome
2. Tap the three-dot menu in the top right
3. Tap "Add to Home screen" or "Install app"
4. Tap "Add" to confirm

Once added, you can launch ArtistSea directly from your home screen.

1. Click the + (plus) button in the navigation bar
2. Select Artwork as the post type
3. Upload your image(s)
4. Add a title, description, and relevant tags
5. Choose whether to post to a community or your profile
6. Click Publish

Your artwork will be visible to others once approved (if posting to a moderated community).

Artwork posts are image-focused. They're perfect for sharing paintings, illustrations, sketches, sculptures, and other visual art. The image is the star of the show.

Article posts are text-focused with optional images. They're great for tutorials, artist statements, process breakdowns, art reviews, or any longer-form written content.

Choose the format that best fits what you want to share!

For best results, we recommend JPEG for photographs and artwork, and PNG for images with transparency.

Yes! You have full control over your content.

To edit or delete a post:

1. Navigate to your post
2. Click the pencil icon to edit, or the trash icon to delete
3. These options only appear on posts you've created

Note: Deleting a post is permanent and cannot be undone.

• Add relevant tags that describe your artwork (e.g., "oil painting", "portrait", "landscape")
• Use specific tags for better discoverability
• Tags are searchable, so think about what terms people might use to find art like yours

Good tags help build community around specific art styles and subjects.

• Art medium (watercolor, digital art, sculpture)
• Subject matter (portraits, landscapes, abstract)
• Skill level (beginners, professionals)
• Location or language
• Any other shared interest

Joining communities helps you connect with like-minded artists and get your work seen by people who appreciate your style.

Joining a community is simple:

1. Browse communities from the sidebar or search
2. Click on a community to view its page
3. Click the Join button

For public communities, you'll be added immediately. Private communities may require approval from a moderator.

To create a community:

1. Go to the Communities section
2. Click Create Community
3. Choose a name and description
4. Set privacy settings (public, private, or hidden)
5. Add community rules and guidelines

As the creator, you'll automatically become the community admin with full moderation powers.

Public communities:

• Anyone can see the community and its posts
• Anyone can join instantly
• Posts appear in public feeds

Private communities:

• Only members can see posts
• New members must be approved by admins/moderators
• Great for exclusive groups or sensitive content

Hidden communities:

• Don't appear in search or listings
• Join by invitation only
• Maximum privacy for special groups

Free features like posting artwork, joining communities, and interacting with others remain free forever.

Our free trial gives you full access to all Premium features for 30 days:

• No credit card required to start
• Full access to all Premium tools
• Your data is saved if you subscribe after the trial
• Cancel anytime with no obligation

After the trial ends, you can subscribe to keep your Premium features and data, or continue using ArtistSea's free features.

If your Premium subscription expires:

• Your free features (posts, communities, profile) remain untouched
• Premium data (inventory, notes, contacts, etc.) becomes inaccessible
• You have a 14-day grace period to resubscribe and keep your data
• After 14 days, Premium data is permanently deleted

We'll send you email reminders before any data is deleted.

To manage your subscription:

1. Click your profile picture in the navigation
2. Select Settings
3. Go to the Subscription tab

From there you can view your current plan, update payment methods, or cancel your subscription.

To change your password:

1. Click your profile picture in the navigation
2. Select Settings
3. Go to the Security section
4. Click Change Password
5. Enter your current password and new password

Forgot your password? Use the "Forgot Password" link on the login page to reset it via email.

We're sorry to see you go! To delete your account:

1. Go to Settings
2. Scroll to the Danger Zone section
3. Click Delete Account
4. Confirm your decision

Warning: Account deletion is permanent. All your posts, comments, and data will be permanently removed and cannot be recovered.

Your public profile is visible to everyone, including:

• Your username and profile picture
• Your bio and links
• Your public posts
• Communities you've joined (public ones)

Posts made to private communities are only visible to community members.

If you see content that violates our guidelines:

1. Click the three dots (⋯) menu on the post or comment
2. Select Report
3. Choose a reason for the report
4. Add any additional details
5. Submit the report

Our moderation team reviews all reports and takes appropriate action. Thank you for helping keep ArtistSea safe!

If you haven't received your verification email:

1. Check your spam/junk folder
2. Make sure you entered the correct email address
3. Wait a few minutes - emails can sometimes be delayed
4. Try requesting a new verification email from the login page

Still having trouble? Contact us through the Feedback form (you can access it after logging in with an unverified account for this purpose).

No problem! To reset your password:

1. Go to the login page
2. Click Forgot Password?
3. Enter the email address associated with your account
4. Check your email for a reset link
5. Click the link and create a new password

The reset link expires after a short time for security, so use it promptly.

If you're having trouble uploading images:

• Check file size - Images must be under 10MB
• Check format - We support JPEG, PNG, GIF, and WebP
• Check your connection - Large uploads need stable internet
• Try a different browser - Some browser extensions can interfere
• Clear your cache - Sometimes old cached data causes issues
